The Senior Manager of MarTech Ops will lead the strategic direction and daily management of the marketing technology stack. Responsibilities include evaluating, testing, integrating, and scaling tools for personalization, automation, attribution, and insights. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, a proactive approach to emerging technology, and a bias for action. The ideal candidate will own the MarTech ecosystem roadmap, lead vendor evaluations and POCs, manage vendor relationships, champion AI and automation, and build a high-performing team. They will also communicate MarTech priorities and ROI to senior leadership.
Must have:
  • 6+ years in MarTech or related field
  • Experience managing complex MarTech stacks
  • Vendor evaluation, onboarding, contract negotiation
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (Segment, Braze, etc.)
  • Strategic thinking and hands-on execution

The Crown Is Yours

We’re seeking a future-forward, tech-savvy leader to head our Marketing Technology (MarTech) Operations. As the Senior Manager of MarTech Ops, you’ll drive both the strategic direction and daily management of our marketing tech stack—evaluating, testing, integrating, and scaling tools that power personalization, automation, attribution, and insights. You’ll operate as both a systems-level strategist and hands-on builder, with a passion for leveraging innovation and AI to elevate marketing performance. This role demands strong cross-functional collaboration, a proactive approach to emerging technology, and a bias for action in testing and onboarding new solutions.

What you’ll do as a Senior Manager, MarTech Operations

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and performance of the end-to-end MarTech ecosystem, including auditing existing tools and recommending solutions based on business needs.

  • Lead rigorous evaluations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new vendors and solutions that enable personalization, automation, attribution, and insights.

  • Own vendor relationships from selection to integration and beyond—managing performance, negotiating contracts, and optimizing cost.

  • Champion AI, automation, and advanced analytics to drive marketing innovation and effectiveness.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Data Science, and Product to translate goals into scalable tech solutions.

  • Pilot and operationalize AI-driven initiatives for campaign optimization, segmentation, and content generation.

  • Build and lead a high-performing MarTech team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

  • Communicate MarTech priorities, impact, and ROI to senior leadership in clear, actionable terms.

 

What you’ll bring   

  • 6+ years in marketing technology, growth marketing, or technical program management.

  • Proven success managing and evolving complex MarTech stacks in high-growth environments.

  • Strong experience in vendor evaluation, onboarding, contract negotiation, and lifecycle management.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Segment, Braze, Google Marketing Platform, Snowflake, or similar.

  • Deep curiosity about emerging technologies, especially AI and machine learning applications in marketing.

  • Strategic thinker able to balance long-term vision with hands-on execution.

  • Effective communicator who thrives in dynamic, cross-functional teams.

  • Experience leading and mentoring teams, particularly in hybrid or distributed settings.

Join Our Team

We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 136,000.00 USD - 170,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
