Bosch is seeking a Senior Manager for OES sales within their Automotive Service Solutions division in India. The role focuses on achieving business plan targets, sales, and P&L management for automotive service solutions catering to OEM brands and dealerships across various vehicle segments. Key responsibilities include managing sales programs, new acquisitions, business development, account strategies for top-line growth, and developing and executing business strategies aligned with global AA-AS strategy. The role also involves managing the 'Tools' product area, leading and nurturing a team of KAMs and RSMs, talent development, and planning for program management, material planning, and demand forecasting to ensure on-time delivery. Effective relationship and stakeholder management with key customers, both internal and external, is crucial, along with profitability management through price and portfolio management. Inventory and receivables management, along with a strong focus on customer satisfaction (VoC), are also key aspects of the role.
Must have:
  • 15+ years of experience in the Automotive Industry (OE/Aftermarket)
  • Minimum 8 years in a leadership position with sales exposure
  • Prior experience in Global Key Account management
  • Prior P&L responsibility
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Expert in commercial aspects of OE Sales & Business Development
  • Expert in communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving
  • Expert in leadership and people management skills
  • Very strong in data analysis
  • Ability to work in a matrix structure
  • Business Acumen
Good to have:
  • Proficient knowledge of Automotive products, systems, and technology trends

Job Description

The purpose of the role is to achieve the business plan targets, Sales, P&L management and further regional business strategy catering to OEM brands / dealerships across vehicle segments for Automotive service solutions 

Area: Sales management and Business development

Key activities: Review and management of various sales programs, new acquisitions, new business development, account strategies across Passenger Vehicle, Commercial Vehicles Off-road, 2WP segments for bringing in top line growth

KRA: Targeted revenue and new acquisition growth for the region

Area:Strategy

Key activities: Establish and execute business Strategy for the department and region to achieve regional growth as per business plan aligned with global AA-AS strategy

KRA: Effective implementation of defined strategies

Area: Leading Product Area – Tools:

Key activities: Responsible for managing operations and strategy for Product Area – Tools

KRA: Achieving set targets for PA

Area: People management

Key activities: Lead and nurture a team of KAMs, RSMs, Sales Operations and formulate strategy & execution plan for talent development across department

KRA: Talent Pool & succession planning

Area: Planning

Key activities: Review and execute Program mgmt. for various OE/dealers and effective material planning / demand forecasting to ensure 'On time delivery' to meet customer requirements

KRA: Ensure smooth execution of programs and On Time Delivery to customers

Area: Relationship and Stakeholder Management

Key activities: Establish & foster relationships with key customers both external & internal, work closely with Go To Source/Go To Market functions as well as AA-AS global leadership in the business Unit

KRA: Effective handling of internal & external customers helping in business sustainance & growth

Area: Profitability management

Key activities: Execute strategies for effective price management and portfolio management across customer accounts helping manage margins

KRA: Defined targets of profitability

Area: Inventory and Receivables management

Key activities: Reviewing timely collection of payments from customers to ensure healthy account receivables and maintaining appropriate stock levels to ensure On time availability to customers

KRA: Set annual and monthly target of Account receivables and inventory management.

Area: VoC (Voice of Customers) Management

Key activities: Strong focus on achieving Customer Satisfaction targets and KPIs

KRA: VoC survey ratings on NPS and CES score

 

Qualifications

B.E/ B.Tech in Automobile / Mechanical MBA in Sales & Mktg / General management
15+ years of Total experience with experience in Automotive Industry ( OE / After market)Min 8 years in a Leadership position with Sales exposure Prior Experience in Global Key Account management / P& L responsibility
