As a Sr. Producer at Mattel, you will oversee the execution of content for Mattel Brand audiences, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet creative objectives. This role involves managing a large slate of projects from ideation to delivery, building production pipelines for various formats, determining the right partners, and managing project schedules, budgets, and milestones. You will also be responsible for identifying strategic partnerships and innovative production techniques, staying ahead of digital platforms, and curating industry partnership opportunities. The role also includes supporting brand and platform strategy, working cross-functionally with legal, and managing A&P budgets. This role involves 70% content supervision, 30% strategic partnerships, and innovation.

The Opportunity: Mattel is seeking a Sr Producer to work with internal and external partners to oversee execution of content for Mattel Brand audiences. The position will work directly with the Strategy team and creative development to ensure content is produced in order to achieve global engagement. What Your Impact Will Be: 70% - Content Supervision Supervise Producers and Productions of a large slate of projects from ideation through delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet creative objectives while mentoring and guiding Producers toward Sr Producer positions. * Manage a large slate of projects from development through delivery * Manage team bandwidth and resources required to achieve annual production needs * Build and maintain sustainable production pipelines for various formats and video styles ranging from animation, live action, interactive, live streams and more. * Determine the right partners internally and externally for each production and define project schedules, budgets and milestones. * Build project estimates, schedules, budgets and Statements of Work (SOW). * Responsible for ensuring partners are delivering projects on time and on budget. * Build all projects within WorkFront (project management tool) for tracking and reporting. * Manage asset delivery, metadata, and organization with the Mattel DAM. * Work in-house with Production Studio team to book resources and manage productions. * ⁠Support and lead in IMC drivelines and initiatives 30% - Strategic Partnerships and Innovation Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and innovative production techniques to keep Mattel at the forefront of the ever-changing digital landscape. * Actively recruit and recommend new production talent * Stay ahead of the curve on ever-changing digital platforms and best practices. * Innovate with new production techniques and approaches to stay ahead of the ever-changing landscape. * Identify and curate new industry partnership opportunities. * Support Brand and Platform strategy and creative with production timelines and format recommendations to stay in budget. * Work cross-functionally with legal to execute contracts that are aligned to the broader goals of Mattel. * Manage A&P budgets for slate of projects across multiple years simultaneously What We’re Looking For: * Bachelor's degree in film production, communications or related field or equivalent experience. * Minimum 10 years of production experience creating videos for digital platforms, specifically working with a Mac. * Strong understanding of digital content platforms and requirements. * Creative thinking skills with experience innovating that leads to engaging and playful visual storytelling. * Proficiency in contracts, agreements, labor laws, and budget tracking. * Experience with post production, localization, and distribution. * Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
