Job Description

The primary role of the Test Analyst is to support comprehensive testing efforts by executing functional, system, and integration testing across a variety of applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. The Test Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. This is a client-facing, onsite position requiring regular presence at locations in Cincinnati, OH and Kentucky.
Must have:
  • Analyze requirements to design test plans
  • Execute manual and automated test cases
  • Report on test results
  • Identify, document, and manage defects
  • Coordinate with teams for defect resolution
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Document testing processes and QA documentation
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards
  • Provide updates on testing status, risks, issues
  • Work onsite in Cincinnati and Kentucky
  • Proven experience in software testing
  • Translate business requirements into test cases
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Proactive approach to issue resolution
  • Work independently and in a team
  • Flexible to travel to client sites

Position Summary:

The primary role of the Test Analyst is to support comprehensive testing efforts by executing functional, system, and integration testing across a variety of applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. The Test Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. This is a client-facing, onsite position requiring regular presence at locations in Cincinnati, OH and Kentucky.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze business and technical requirements to design appropriate test plans and test cases
  • Execute manual and/or automated test cases and report on results
  • Identify, document, and manage defects through resolution
  • Coordinate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and support defect resolution
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide detailed feedback
  • Document testing processes and maintain relevant QA documentation
  • Ensure compliance with established testing standards and best practices
  • Provide regular updates on testing status, risks, and issues
  • Work onsite at client locations in both Cincinnati and Kentucky as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software testing, including functional, system, regression, and UAT
  • Ability to understand and translate business requirements into test cases
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to issue resolution
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to travel to and work from multiple client sites as needed

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TFS)
  • Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies
  • Familiarity with SQL and ability to perform basic database queries
  • Exposure to API testing tools and techniques is a plus
  • Understanding of Agile and traditional SDLC environments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Test Analyst or similar role in a QA environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be available to work onsite in Cincinnati and Kentucky
