Job Description
As the Vice President of Product Management, you will lead and scale the Email Protection business unit. This role encompasses product strategy, roadmap development, innovation, and go-to-market collaboration. You will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution for Barracuda’s industry-leading Email Protection and Data Protection portfolios, working with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The role involves identifying market opportunities, driving product lifecycles, and ensuring customer-centric focus, alongside leading and mentoring a team of product managers.
Must have:
- 12+ years of Product Management experience, with 5+ in senior leadership
- Proven experience in email security or cybersecurity environments
- Strong understanding of GTM strategies
- Strong business and technical acumen
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams using Agile methodologies

We are looking for a visionary product leader with a balance of GTM and execution focus as Vice President, Product Management to lead and scale the Email Protection business unit, with responsibility for product strategy, roadmap, innovation, and go-to-market collaboration.
As VP of Product Management, you own the vision, strategy, and execution for Barracuda’s industry-leading Email Protection and Data Protection portfolios. You will lead a team of seasoned product management leadership and work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver secure, scalable, and differentiated solutions to protect organizations from email-based threats.
This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role for a product leader who thrives in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.
What you’ll be working on:
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and continuously refine the Email and Data Protection product strategies; ensure alignment with Barracuda’s overall business objectives, our customer’s needs and the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
- Provide P&L oversight, highlighting cross functional opportunities for growth.
- Identify market opportunities and customer needs by analyzing threat trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
- Own and evangelize the long-term roadmap and business case for continued growth.
Execution & Delivery
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to market launch, with an emphasis on customer experience, product quality, and time-to-market.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable product delivery.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure successful product launches, positioning, and adoption.
Customer-Centric Focus
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring product decisions are deeply informed by market feedback and customer advocacy.
- Understand how you solutions can uniquely enable customers who lack secure resources and expertise striving for effective security.
- Understand the needs and values of Barracuda’s channel partners (VARs, MSPs, etc.) to ensure solutions meet their needs
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers and product owners.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and collaboration across engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams.
- Represent the product line in executive meetings, board presentations, and public forums.
What you bring to the role:
- 12+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in email security or cybersecurity environments.
- Strong understanding of GTM strategies, a proven track record of driving change and enabling new GTM motions
- Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to translate market needs into technical requirements.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams using Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- MSP or Channel Experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
Location: Strong preference for Hybrid Boston area, Ottawa, or East Coast U.S. Remote.
