Business Development Executive – Marsh Advisory

Join the fast-growing consulting and analytics team at Marsh (Marsh Advisory) as a Business Development Executive and help our clients tackle some of their most challenging risk and insurance issues! Due to sustained growth in our portfolio, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive with a background in insurance or insurance broking to join our leading global corporate.

We will count on you to:

  • Proactively engage with brokers on client renewals and identify opportunities for Marsh Advisory to assist.
  • Drive new business campaigns to prospects, promoting Marsh Advisory’s capabilities.
  • Meet with clients and prospects to define their issues and opportunities, demonstrating how Marsh Advisory can help.
  • Prepare proposals, follow up with clients, close sales, and build relationships with senior leadership and the Marsh Advisory team.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to tailor solutions and execute initiatives that meet client needs.

What you need to have:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development ideally within the insurance or insurance broking industry.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Highly motivated with a client service and strategic mindset.
  • Ability to present to and develop relationships at a senior level.
  • Consulting sales or delivery background is a positive but not essential.

  • Proven track record of delivering new and/or expanded business sales growth in the financial or professional services industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
