eBay Live redefines the shopping experience by offering real-time, interactive, and curated live events for buyers worldwide. From collectibles and fashion to luxury goods and sports fan merchandise, we connect communities with sellers and creators through innovative, engaging live programs.

As a Live Producer, you will be responsible for the execution and optimization of live shopping events to ensure smooth production, collaboration with sellers, and audience engagement. You have operational and production experience, as well as strong customer empathy and communication skills. You will work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Data Science.

Your Responsibilities:

• You support and oversee the end-to-end production of eBay Live shopping events, ensuring smooth execution and an engaging user experience.
• You assist in creating processes, playbooks, and cross-functional information regarding live programs.
• You manage live video and audio production, including RTMP streaming operations with OBS Studio, HDMI/SDI/NDI camera technology, and the eBay Live platform, networking, and RTMP streaming setups.
• You collaborate with Category Managers, sellers, and moderators to curate compelling live shopping events aligned with eBay's e-commerce goals.
• You track and analyze key performance metrics such as GMV, viewer interaction, returning buyers, and event saves to optimize event strategies.
• You identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and quality of eBay Live events.
• You work with marketing teams to develop pre-show promotions, push notifications, and event branding to improve reach and viewer engagement.

What You Bring:

• 1+ years of experience in live video production, event management, or e-commerce content production.
• Strong understanding of live streaming technologies, including video switching, OBS Studio, RTMP setups, and NDI networking.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with sellers, moderators, and cross-functional teams.
• Data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Passion for live commerce, digital media, and delivering engaging and innovative shopping experiences.
• Occasional weekend work may be required.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
