The QA Lead will oversee and improve the quality of digital software delivery by leading a team of QA analysts, developing and implementing testing strategies, and ensuring products meet quality standards before release. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage testing processes, lead the team, plan test strategies, improve processes, collaborate with other teams, execute tests, manage defects, and report on testing progress. They must have strong technical skills and knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Must have:
  • 4-8+ years of testing experience and QA team leadership.
  • Computer science or STQB certification.
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral, in English.
  • Experience testing all digital deliveries.
  • Thorough understanding of responsive web design and testing.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Fogbugs or defect tracking utility.
  • Experience testing on mobile platforms.
  • Understanding of the software development cycle.
  • Digital production industry experience.
  • Knowledge and experience on Web Accessibility testing with WCAG.
  • Responsible for rolling out continuous optimizations about new testing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience on test planning creation and execution.
  • Experience on test cases creation and execution.
  • Playwright or other demonstrated automation tools experience.

A Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for overseeing and improving the quality of digital software delivery by leading a team of QA analysts, developing and implementing testing strategies, and ensuring products meet quality standards before release. The QA Lead also collaborates with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, account managers and manage testing processes to improve overall delivery quality. 

Team Leadership:

Leading and managing a team of QA analysts, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment. 



Test Strategy and Planning:

Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, strategies, and methodologies to ensure thorough testing and coverage. 



Process Improvement:

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. 



Collaboration:

Collaborating with development, product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and alignment with project goals. 



Testing Execution:

Overseeing the execution of tests, including manual and automated testing, and ensuring that test cases are thoroughly executed and documented. 



Defect Management:

Managing the resolution of defects and bugs identified during testing, ensuring that they are documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. 



Reporting and Metrics:

Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on testing progress, test results, and product quality metrics. 



Technical Expertise:

Possessing strong technical skills and knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. 



Automation:

Driving the adoption and implementation of automated testing tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage. 


  

Qualifications  

We’re looking for candidates with industry experience in:  

·       4-8+ years of testing experience and proven QA team leadership.

·       Computer science or STQB certification or technical background or certification related to QA.

·       Effectively communicate with team both written and orally in English.

·       Experience testing all digital deliveries: Websites, Panels, Media, etc.

·       Thorough understanding of responsive web design and testing.

·       Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Fogbugs or other defect tracking utility is mandatory.

·       Experience testing on mobile platforms; tablet and phone.

·       Understanding of the software development cycle

·       Digital production industry experience.

  

Required Skills  

·    Knowledge and experience on Web Accessibility testing with WCAG.

·    Responsible for rolling out continuous optimizations about new testing tools and methodologies.

·    Experience on test planning creation and execution.

·    Experience on test cases creation and execution.

·    Playwright or other demonstrated automation tools experience.
