Sales Planner
Job Summary
Job Description
The Sales Planner will work in partnership with the Sales team to understand client objectives and needs, develop a strong understanding of WebMD media products, assist the Sales team with RFPs and client-facing decks, plan and reserve media, obtain creative/3rd party tags, develop internal relationships and effectively communicate program details to internal operation teams, provide ongoing campaign management to ensure revenue is maximized, and perform analysis & optimizations to ensure proper delivery of contracted goals, program pacing, and reporting. The role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with strong customer service skills.
Must have:
- Ability to multi-task and function well under pressure
- Understanding of third-party advertising tags and reporting
- Proactive, results-oriented with strong customer service skills
- 1-3 years’ experience in media planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel
- Knowledgeable of the latest digital advertising trends
Good to have:
- Salesforce experience
- DART experience
- Sizmek experience
- Prisma experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to multi-task and function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes
- Understanding of third-party advertising tags and reporting
- Proactive, results-oriented with strong customer service skills
- 1-3 years’ experience in agency or publisher environment with media planning responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel
- Knowledgeable of the latest digital advertising trends and online media
- Salesforce, DART, Sizmek, Prisma experience a plus
Salary Range: $64,000 - $66,000
