Job Description

The Senior Ad Sales Executive will be responsible for driving advertising sales across a range of strategic clients. This role involves building Activision Blizzard Media's presence as a gaming must-buy for advertisers, focusing on ad solutions within the King mobile app portfolio. Key responsibilities include nurturing relationships with strategic accounts, developing business plans, and consistently delivering commercial growth. The ideal candidate will need to meet high levels of external client activity, including meetings and calls, and prospecting to build business development skills.
Must have:
  • Experience generating demand in media agencies.
  • Demonstrated key relationships across Strategy, Comms, and Digital teams.
  • Ability to build and handle relationships across business collaborators.
  • Understanding of programmatic including Google Ad Manager, DSPs, video/mobile media products, audience targeting and measurement.
  • Strategic problem solver to overcome objections and build partnerships.
  • Excellent communicator and presenter with proven track record.
Good to have:
  • Background in selling digital video and experience in mobile apps.
  • Being steadfast.
  • Creative and hardworking with a drive for problem-solving.

Your role in our Kingdom

  • We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and strategic sales professional working across a wide range of strategic clients across Publicis and Independents.

  • Ability to establish ABM as the gaming must-buy for advertisers, primarily through ad solutions on the King mobile app portfolio.

  • Nurture relationships that unlock ongoing spend with strategic accounts - with a focus across Publicis and Dentsu - UK and MultiMarket

  • Set clear business plans that identify key accounts, agency partners at all levels and actions required to unlock spend

  • Meet high levels of external client activity - meetings, calls and prospecting - business development skills core

  • Ensure delivery of meaningful commercial growth consistently

Skills to create thrills

  • Confirmed experience of generating demand in media agencies and clients from the ground up for digital sales teams in London and internationally

  • Ability to demonstrate key relationships across Strategy, Comms and Digital teams - within agencies including a focus on Publicis & Dentsu

  • Guide in building and handling relationships across business collaborators

  • Background in selling digital video and experience in mobile app are a strong bonus.

  • Proven understanding of programmatic including Google Ad Manager, DSPs, video/mobile media products, audience targeting and measurement

  • Strategic problem solver - you are able to overcome objections and build partnerships at senior levels

  • Being steadfast - you are willing to overcome tough objections and win the support of key external collaborators

  • Creative and hardworking, you are driven by problem solving and are an outstanding teammate

  • Excellent communicator and presenter, you have an adventurous spirit and proven track record of exceeding sales goals
