As CME Group grows and invests in the APAC region, the Client Development & Sales (CD&S) Platform Solutions Sales Associate based in Tokyo is a newly created role and will primarily be responsible for developing and growing client adoption of a combination of CME trading front-ends and Exchange data in Japan.
Delivering growth, the Sales Associate will collaborate with CD&S account managers, product specialists, the platform onboarding team and other stakeholders and follow CD&S processes including SalesForce reporting, pipeline management, campaign management, while supporting initiatives to contribute to regional platform and data goals.
Principle Accountabilities:
Support sales and growth initiatives relating to the adoption and utilization of CME Group’s portfolio of platform solutions and data sales in Japan.
Identification of new client opportunities; as well as extending existing relationships in both the data and platform domains.
Perform demonstrations and training on CME Group’s platform solutions, market data products and other services.
Support CME clients with onboarding and technical questions in coordination with internal stakeholders including the Global Command Center, Market and Derived Data teams, and Global Account Management.
Actively manage a sales pipeline of opportunities for Market Data, Derived Data and Platforms Solutions distribution.
Skills and Experience Required:
Native fluency in Japanese. Korean language skills would be a plus.
Minimum 2 years experience in the derivatives marketplace or with financial markets trading platforms and market data services. Knowledge of commodity derivatives products is a plus.
Experience in customer support and relationship management.
Pro-active in following up and managing projects in a timely manner with stakeholders.
Self-starting, team player with strong communication skills. This role requires being able to think and act independently locally, while engaging and partnering with regional and global stakeholders.
Problem solving and ability to follow up with internal processes.
Google Workspace and Salesforce experience required.
