As Distribution Service Assistant you will sort incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail for all Walt Disney World locations. Ensure mail is processed and delivered to the correct location, while still meet on time delivery expectations. Cultivate customer relationships while simultaneously promoting corporate efficiency. Safely operate a Company vehicle in compliance with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

This position will report to Operations Manager

This is an hourly Part Time role.

What You Will Do:

  • Receive and log accountable incoming mail daily

  • Sort incoming mail. Perform mail delivery assignments

  • Process outgoing mail according to Postal Service requirements

  • Sort Company mail, specific and correspondence

  • Monitor and listen to clients to understand inquiries and requests to provide accurate information about the services and prompt assistance

  • You will distribute parcels promptly

  • Follow security procedures for the identification and handling of suspicious mail.

  • Handle conflict and crisis in guest/customer recovery situations

  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency using a computer and computer programs (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License

  • Meet deadlines, balance several high-priority assignments, and perform job responsibilities

  • Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling (Up to 50 pounds)

  • Demonstrated experience working well with team members in a small group setting, promoting collaboration.

  • Background in maintaining relationships and working with partners at all levels

  • Track record for customer service

  • Handle conflict and crisis effectively

  • Well-defined organizational tactics to complete projects concurrently.

  • Work flexible shifts and assignments

  • Part-Time hours-typically 24 hours a week

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

Education:

  • High School Degree, or equivalent.
