Job Description

The Global Director of Product Industrialization will drive the introduction of new Medical Device Products in Operations and Supply Chain, supporting CT/AMI customers and patients. Responsibilities include developing portfolio strategy, managing product industrialization roadmaps, ensuring smooth design transfers from R&D to Operations, and defining requirements with R&D and Supply Chain. The role involves applying DFX, DFM, and Lean methodologies, as well as leading a global team. The director will be responsible for ensuring product quality, optimizing costs, and fostering innovation within the healthcare sector, all while working towards improving the lives of billions through market-driven healthcare innovations.
Must have:
  • MSc Engineering Degree in relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing/Supply Chain.
  • 5+ years experience as a Team Manager.
  • Expertise in New Products Design Transfer.
  • Quality Management Systems expertise.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with Six Sigma/ Lean tools.
Good to have:

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Contribute to drive new Medical Device Products introductions in Operations and Supply Chain to support our CT/AMI customers and patients as well as our CT/AMI business.

You are responsible for

  • Drive Industrialization for CT/AMI Medical Devices Products
  • Partnering with business unit product management leadership teams to develop the portfolio strategy & annual plan, focusing on R&D utilization
  • Manage products Industrialization roadmap for CT/AMI and ensure smooth, high quality and optimized costs of CT/AMI Products Design Transfers from R&D to Operations
  • Interact with R&D, Operations and Supply chain and define requirements and processes to reach business goals, as well as interact with your peers to define Industrialization standards
  • Apply DFX (Design for Excellence), DFM (Design for Manufacturing) , Design for supply chain and Lean methodologies
  • Lead your team, and ensure people growth and development with global leadership, managing a multi locations global team

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • MSc Engineering Degree (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Systems/ Industrialization)
  • At least 10 years of working experience in a complex Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Supply Chain environment
  • At least 5 years of working experience as a Team Manager
  • Preferably experience in the HighTech industry, ideally Healthcare or other strict regulatory environments
  • Expertise in New Products Design Transfer from R&D to Operations and supply Chain
  • Quality acumen; Expertise in Quality Management Systems; preferably medical Device and/or APQP
  • Strong leader with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Six Sigma/ Lean tools, as well as DFM/ DFT
  • Business English both spoken and written is required
  • Analytical skills is required
