Nasdaq London is currently seeking a Head of Index New Product – EMEA. This person will be responsible for leading the development of new indexes that will be benchmarks for financial products such as Exchange Traded Products (ETPs). The manager’s main responsibility will be leading client engagement throughout the product development life cycle, from ideation to index launch.
This will entail managing the development of index rebalance and reconstitution models, the back testing of those models, and the creation of client-facing analysis based on the results of that testing, as well as collaborating with internal partners across as sales and operations to ensure a successful and timely launch index launch. In the case of an internally developed index idea, the manager will be responsible for identifying and pitching a specific client for whom the index is a strategic fit, based on an assessment of each client’s product portfolio, strategy, and position in the market.
