Job Description

The International Growth Consultant, AppDev role at Google focuses on helping AppDev customers expand their international business. Responsibilities include consulting on growth strategies, building data-driven recommendations, shaping expansion strategies across markets/verticals, identifying and scaling growth opportunities, supporting clients throughout their export journey (market identification to in-market expertise, addressing operational challenges like payments, customer experience, logistics, and localization). The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, experience in business development or consulting, and the ability to build strong client relationships. The role requires collaborating effectively within a team and contributing to a positive team culture.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years experience using business life cycle
  • Consult Google's AppDev customers on international growth
  • Build data-motivated business recommendations
  • Shape customer expansion strategy across markets/verticals
Good to have:
  • Experience in strategy consulting
  • Experience in executive stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of digital marketing products
  • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent strategy creation skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience using the business life cycle to drive business.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in strategy consulting, in-house consulting, business development or consultative business.
  • Experience in executive stakeholder management with the ability to collaborate toward goals.
  • Knowledge of the digital marketing products and landscape.
  • Excellent business acumen including problem-solving with quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent strategy creation skills with the ability to deliver business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Consult Google’s AppDev customers on how to grow their international business by understanding customer goals, building data-motivated business recommendations, and shaping their expansion strategy across markets/verticals.
  • Conceive ideas, approaches and solutions to identify growth opportunities for customers and scale them.
  • Provide support to clients along their export journey, from market identification to in-market expertise including how to overcome operational issues (e.g., payments, customer experience, logistics, localization).
  • Be a strong team player, contributing to the positive culture of the International Growth Team and AppDev EMEA, and influencing your own development, and the development of those around you.
