Adtran is looking for a highly motivated Junior System Integration Test Engineer to join our R&D team. If you want to be a part of our growing company that is driven by innovation and is focused on building a future together with our employees, consider applying.

Principle duties and essential functions

The position will involve designing and developing automated integration tests for DWDM optical transport product line, focusing on platform’s functional requirements coverage.

Other tasks and responsibilities

• Planning and documentation of System Integration Tests for DWDM optical transport product line

• Development of automated test scripts

• Design and test environment setup for various test scenarios

• Execution of manual and automated tests

• Working closely with R&D development team to identify issues

• Documentation and tracking of defects in the test management system

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• Master of  Science degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar faculty

• Very good  language skills in English

• Experience with Python or other programming languages

• Experience with Linux OS

• Experience in software testing methodologies would be a plus

• Experience with Robot Framework would be a plus

• Experience with GIT version control system would be a plus

• Basic knowledge of WDM Optical Networks would be a plus

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Self-motivated, teamwork oriented and well organized

• Flexible, open minded and eager to work in fast changing environment
