Job Description
The Retail Business Support Specialist will support the FASHIONPHILE retail location in Newport Beach, CA. Responsibilities include managing back-of-house tasks such as inventory pulling, customer support, shipping new products, and receiving returns. They will report to the local leadership team and work closely with the Sales Specialist. This role involves unloading, sorting, unpacking, and breaking down boxes for incoming packages, preparing customer products for shipping, pulling products for customers, answering phones, supporting client scheduling, scanning, organizing products, and processing customer and retail returns. The candidate must be available to work rotating shifts Monday through Sunday.
Must have:
- GED or equivalent experience
- Experience in shipping and order fulfillment
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Prior retail or operational experience handling product
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to successfully multitask
Good to have:
- Experience working with handheld scanners

** Please note this is a Full-Time (40 hours a week+) role and all of our employees at this location work a rotating shift Monday-Sunday aligned to Fashion Island Mall hours (Monday - Saturday 10:00AM-8:00PM & Sundays 12:00PM-6:00PM). Candidates must be available within these hours for any shift in order to be considered.

About the Opportunity:
The Retail Business Support Specialist role will support our FASHIONPHILE retail Newport Beach, CA location in managing all ‘back of house’ responsibilities including inventory pulling, customer support, shipping out of new product, and receiving new products and returns. They will report directly into the local leadership team and be a close partner to the Sales Specialist. Responsibilities include:
- Unload, sort, unpack, and break down boxes for all incoming packages from FASHIONPHILE Courier
- Prepare customer products for shipping based on company packaging guidelines, including shipping labels
- Pulling products for customers
- Answer phones and supporting client scheduling
- Scanning and organizing products
- Processing customer & retail returns
What We’re Looking For:
- GED or equivalent experience
- Prior Experience working in shipping and order fulfillment
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Prior retail or operational experience handling product
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to successfully multitask

Pay Rate: This position begins at $19/HR for all New Hires into FASHIONPHILE's retail Newport Beach, CA location.
