Job Summary
Job Description
The role is for a Senior Associate - Key Account Management (KAM) within the EDC Retail team. The primary responsibility is to increase sales of devices among merchants in a designated area. This involves physically visiting micro markets, identifying and selling to quality merchants, and minimizing risks associated with fraud and chargebacks through careful merchant onboarding. The associate must adhere to risk guidelines and resolve high-risk merchant issues. Additionally, the role requires seeking references from converted clients and collaborating with internal Business & Technology teams to address technological bottlenecks, acting as a brand ambassador for Paytm.
Must have:
- Increase device sales to merchants
- Identify and sell to good quality merchants
- Minimize fraud and chargebacks
- Adhere to risk guidelines
- Resolve high-risk merchant issues
- Seek references from converted clients
- Engage with internal teams on technology bottlenecks
- Act as a brand ambassador

About the team: EDC Retail EDC is one of Paytms business tool to help merchant grow and manage their business through simplicity and data driven technology.
Expectations/ Requirements:
The incumbent will be expected to increase sales of our devices amongst merchants in a specified area. The role will require physical movement into micro markets, identifying and selling to good quality merchants. Minimize risks of fraud, chargebacks by ensuring good quality of merchant onboarding Adhere to the risk guidelines shared by the team. Visit merchant and resolve issues highlighted as high risk. Seek references of other good merchants from the converted clients Engage with various Business & Technology Teams within Paytm to identify common bottlenecks esp. on Technology front. Be a brand ambassador for Paytm Stay Hungry, Stay Humble, Stay Relevant!
