Category Management
We take the responsibility for strategic purchasing and global steering of the purchasing category supply chain services such as logistic services overland transportation, air- and sea transportation, warehouse services and packaging as well as for all other indirect supply chain demands on global level within the Bosch Group.
As a global organization, we ensure proximity to our internal customers and regional markets through the active presence of our buyers.
When defining the category and the supplier strategies we seek close alignment and rely on early involvement with our internal customers. In implementing these strategies, we focus on realizing bundling potentials as well as securing a strong and reliable supply base.

Your tasks:
► Identify, design and implement internal process improvements
► Automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery
► Keep existing data sources fresh against data quality issues
► Design, develop and maintain data quality assurance framework
► Perform data analysis and deliver data supporting category experts along the Source to Contract (S2C) process (incl. contract lifecycle management, market analysis, preparation and execution of tenders)
► Develop KPI dashboards steering the Business performance
► Support of Buyer (CoQ Order management in SAP, maintenance of contracts, update, set up RFI, RFQ, CoQ)
► Serve as the primary representative of the GS/PUI1 department for implementation project of eTender Application (LeA) and Rate management (DiRC).
► Define project requirements and scope in collaboration with stakeholders.
► Manage the project plan, budget, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
► Oversee the automation of existing processes and the integration of data within the Rate Management System (e.g., rate sheets and benchmark rates).
► Manage and coordinate project partners, both internal and external.
► Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
► Develop and maintain project documentation.
► Conduct ROI calculations to justify project investments.
► Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes.
► Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies such as GenAI and RPA and identify opportunities for their application.
► Represent the project externally and promote its success.
► Lead and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support.
► Take ownership of project challenges, making informed decisions to keep the project on track and within scope.
► University degree
► Proven experience in indirect procurement within Robert Bosch GmbH
► Familiarity with logistics processes at Robert Bosch GmbH is highly desirable
► Business fluent English, German would be an advantage
► Understanding and knowledge of the supply chain area purchasing and logistics
► Ability to identify issues, develop solutions and drive results
► Data analysis and profound Microsoft Office knowledge
► Intercultural competencies
► VBA and PowerBI knowledge of advantage
► Experience in generating and maintaining data pipelines from various data sources
► Experience in business intelligence and/or data analytics
