Job Description

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building business value, and driving up-sell/cross-sell within existing Enterprise Accounts in the retail e-commerce space. You'll work closely with customer success managers to deliver a proven sales process, evangelize the platform, and meet revenue targets. This role involves understanding CommerceIQ's product solutions and how they support industry leaders in growing online sales. You will also be tasked with expanding CommerceIQ's footprint to different business units within the organization, creating demand by uncovering business problems and aligning them to our platform solution. The goal is to move the needle with the client’s KPIs, and showcase the value of the CommerceIQ platform through tailored presentations, demonstrations, and business case development.
Must have:
  • 6+ years of Sales experience with a track record of success selling SaaS + services.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce business operations, specifically large Enterprise CPGs.
  • Proven success in managing relationships within large enterprise organizations.
  • Track record and expertise in selling in the Amazon or e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Record of selling 250K+ deals through strong Business Case methods.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up sales environment with a consistent record of beating quota.
  • Ability to learn complex business concepts very quickly and define problems accurately.

  • Experience selling into Head of E-commerce or Marketing Leaders.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a strong Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing Sales team.  

The Sales team is responsible for identifying new opportunities within our customer base, and employing proven sales processes that build business value, evangelize our platform, drive up-sell/cross-sell, and meet/exceed revenue targets.  

You’ll gain a deep understanding of CommerceIQ's product solutions and how our e-commerce optimization platform supports industry leaders to grow online sales by leveraging the power of insights and automation. In this position you will be joining a team that is achieving 100%+ yr/yr growth while solidifying the preeminent position in the category that we are creating!

A background in enterprise B2B SaaS and expertise with value-based selling techniques and methodologies is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop relationships and win new business within existing, owned, Enterprise Accounts in the retail e-commerce space 
  • Partner with our customer success managers to deliver and employ a proven sales process that builds business value
  • Evangelize our platform and drive up-sells and cross-sells
  • Successfully connect with, and sell to, multiple levels within an organization
  • Coordinate and drive successful product pilots 
  • Expand CIQs footprint to different BU’s within the organization 
  • Generate pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment
  • Sell on value and ROI versus technical functionality
  • Own the client relationship throughout the sales process
  • Create demand by uncovering business problems and matching them to our platform solution
  • Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to understand the selling-points of new products and provide feedback to the product team on the market response to them
  • Focus on moving the needle with respect to the client’s KPIs and showcase the value of the CommerceIQ platform through personalized presentations, demonstrations, and business case development
  • Attend industry events and foster relationships

What You’ll Bring:

  • 6+ years of Sales experience with a track record of success selling SaaS + services to Enterprise businesses
  • Deep understanding of the way e-commerce businesses operate (specifically large Enterprise CPGs), and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level 
  • Proven success in managing relationships, from Power User up to C-level, within large enterprise organizations with many stakeholders
  • Track record and expertise in selling in the Amazon or e-commerce ecosystem
  • Record of selling 250K+ deals through strong Business Case and/or Challenger Selling methods
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up sales environment with a consistent record of beating quota
  • Experience developing proposals, business cases, and other content
  • Ability to learn complex business concepts very quickly, define problems accurately while paying attention to detail in the solution
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients and internal teams built on trust and credibility
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills, with a strong emphasis on active listening
  • Self-driven, motivated and result-oriented
  • Experience selling into Head of E-commerce or Marketing Leaders at consumer product manufacturers is highly preferred

Compensation: 

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is USD: $125,000 - 156,000 per year, with expected total on-target earnings (including commission) being double.

This base pay range may be inclusive of several career levels at CommerceIQ and will be narrowed based on a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.  

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at CommerceIQ. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock options, as well as potential discretionary bonuses. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k)-retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other perks. We have at least 10 paid company holidays in each calendar year, in addition to this we have unlimited PTO for our full-time employees.
