Senior Manager, Finance (Contract)

What will you work on?

Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting is a key member of the Finance team, providing essential support to senior management by delivering accurate financial analysis and reports to support decision-making across the enterprise.
 

How will you create impact?

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process for North America Toys and Corporate business units.
• Oversee full cycle accounting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for operating companies, holding companies and corporate entities
• Liaise with the technical accounting team on appropriate accounting treatment for complex transactions ensuring adherence to IFRS is met in all circumstances.
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, facilitating audit processes and ensuring timely provision of required documentation.
• Work with and support key business partnerships (i.e. tax, treasury, FPA, consultants, auditors, etc.)
• Support and/or lead projects under the Company’s digital transformation initiative and implement new processes and controls to achieve continuous improvement.
• Drive process improvements to build efficiency and ensure best practices are employed while leveraging systems, automation, and other solutions as needed.
• Lead and develop the Corporate Accounting team, providing guidance, training and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.

What are your skills and experience?

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• Progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles either from a public accounting firm or public company
• Experience motivating, guiding and developing a team of accountants
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• Experience with SAP/BPC
• Experience managing the accounting and month end close process including analysis and interpretation of financial information
• Strong computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office and advanced level Excel skill (pivots, v-lookups, and advanced formulas)
• Experience in implementing new processes and systems
