Job Description

At TransPerfect, the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions, an Account Executive will drive business development by establishing and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities include responding to client requests, defining project scopes, creating cost estimates, analyzing competitive landscapes, crafting proposals, and negotiating budgets. The role involves monitoring project progress, ensuring quality deliverables, and identifying new business opportunities by understanding client industries. Account Executives will also upsell services through outreach, contribute creative problem-solving, and ensure high client satisfaction.
Must have:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, sales teams, and production colleagues.
  • Respond to client requests for new initiatives, define project scopes, and create cost estimates.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape, craft compelling project proposals, and negotiate budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure deadlines and budgets are met, and deliver high-quality deliverables.
  • Dive deep into clients’ industries and business needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Grow existing and new client relationships by teaming up with senior leaders to upsell services.
  • Bring fresh ideas to enhance business development strategies.
  • Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery, quality, and service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Sharp problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Solid time management abilities.
Good to have:
  • Cantonese proficiency
  • Mandarin proficiency

  • Industry Insights: Dive deep into clients’ industries and business needs, to inform and educate various stokeholds and ensure we are well-equipped to identify new business opportunities
  • Business Development: Help grow existing and new client relationships by teaming up with senior leaders to upsell our innovative services, through warm and cold outreach
  • Creative Problem Solving: Bring fresh ideas to enhance our business development strategies
  • Client Satisfaction: Regularly follow up with clients to ensure they’re thrilled with our delivery, quality, and service

Job requirements

What you'll need

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ideally in Cantonese and Mandarin
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Sharp problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Solid time management abilities
