Rippling is seeking talented and ambitious Account Executives to manage high-velocity sales cycles and act as advisors to customers. The role involves managing the full consultative sales cycle, from engaging prospects and understanding their business needs to recommending tailored solutions, closing revenue, and ensuring a smooth transition to the Rippling platform. Responsibilities include collaborating with customers on product configurations, managing pipeline in Salesforce, achieving quota attainment, becoming a product expert, and influencing product development through cross-functional collaboration. The role requires working EST/EDT hours (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST) and is a hybrid position requiring three days a week in the Bangalore office.
Must have:
  • 3+ years sales experience (SaaS B2B preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with monthly quota
  • Experience of success (top 10% sales org)
Good to have:
  • Experience selling HRIS/HCM software
  • Experience selling security-related products

About the role


The Account Executive role at Rippling provides an extremely unique opportunity -- we’re looking for talented and ambitious Account Executives who can both manage a high velocity sales cycle while being an advisor to Rippling’s customers.


As a SSB Account Executive, you will be responsible for the full consultative sales cycle - engaging with interested prospects and understanding their business needs, recommending tailored solutions through our product, closing revenue, and partnering with our AM team to ensure a seamless transition to our platform for new customers.


Your role goes beyond sales by helping customers navigate strategic decisions related to product configurations, compliance, and workflow improvements.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique challenges, acting as a strategic partner to guide them through product configurations and decision-making processes that align with their business objectives
  • Manage pipeline in Salesforce to ensure accurate revenue forecasting both monthly and quarterly
  • Close business and achieve quota attainment consistently
  • Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand our competitor landscape to deliver targeted product demos
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, solutions engineers, sales development and compliance, to directly influence product development
  • Manage the entire client engagement cycle, from initial consultation through implementation and ongoing relationship management with the AM team, to ensure a seamless and successful customer experience.

What you will need

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. AEs at Rippling close a large volume of deals every month and we require someone who is comfortable with volume and pace
  • 3+ years sales experience, preferably in SaaS markets selling B2B. Bachelor's Degree is a must-have.
  • Experience carrying a $600,000+ annual quota
  • Comfortable with monthly quota
  • Experience of success (top 10% of sales org) 
  • Experience selling HRIS/HCM software and/or selling security related products is a good to have

Please note:

  • This job requires you to work EST/EDT hours. (5:30pm to 2:30am IST)
  • This is a hybrid role and will require you to work out our Bangalore office three days a week.
