Job Description

The Associate Marketing Manager on the Digital Licensing team at Wizards of the Coast will work closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager, guiding licensee marketing teams. Responsibilities include providing brand documentation and guidance for authentic brand representation, reviewing and approving licensee marketing materials (key art, trailers, press releases), collaborating internally/externally on marketing plans and co-marketing efforts, compiling updates on digital licensing activities, and reporting on partner marketing plans. This role requires strong project management, excellent communication skills, and experience in the video game industry (especially mobile games). The position is based in WA or RI.

As an Associate Marketing Manager on the Digital Licensing team, you will be working on a team that drives Hasbro & Wizards of the Coast’s digital game presence cross platforms, genres, and brands all over the world. This position will provide guidance and direction to licensee marketing teams.

 

We are currently looking for someone who can work in WA or RI. 

 

A Day in the Life

  • Work closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager and the Digital Licensing team 
  • Assist licensees by providing brand documentation and guidance to deliver authentic brand representation in their game marketing & communications
  • Review & approve licensee’s consumer-facing materials & assets like key art, trailers, and press releases
  • Collaborate cross-functionally both internally and externally to assist licensees in developing marketing plans and coordinate co-marketing efforts in support of licensed digital games
  • Compile, organize, and communicate updates about activities across the digital licensing business in formats such as newsletters and presentations
  • Report across key internal collaborators updates on partner marketing plans, upcoming beats, and recaps

 

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Knowledge of and experience in the video game industry, especially mobile gmaes. 
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adaptable with ability to work across a wide variety of brands, digital game platforms, and at different stages of the product life cycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint required
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships with key internal/external partners across functions and countries.
  • Passion for digital games

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $67,725
  • Pay Range End: $113,500
