Job Description

As a Product Manager on the Hivemind team, you’ll shape the future of autonomous systems, driving innovation for Shield AI. This high-impact role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver cutting-edge capabilities for Unmanned Ground Vehicle autonomy. Your expertise in testing, development, procurement, and operational deployment will be crucial for solving challenges and transforming visionary ideas into battlefield-ready technology.
Must have:
  • Represent product management of the Hivemind Unmanned Ground Vehicle portfolio and ensure product strategy and roadmap alignment to the market and customer needs
  • Maintain awareness of technology and business trends within the USG armament directorates, executive offices, and industry vendors
  • Track progress of the autonomy features and forecast requirements to meet portfolio needs
  • Work with other Product Managers, Program Managers, Business Development, sponsors, operational end-users, industry partners, and a talented cross-functional engineering team to determine what we will build, when, why and for whom
  • Document and communicate your findings via a variety of artifacts, including product roadmaps, PDDs, whitepapers, CONOPs, and presentations as required
  • Support marketing and sales strategy as required
  • Support business development and engagement as required
Good to have:
  • Exceptional communication skills—can effectively communicate with business executives, engineers, customers, end users, senior military leaders, etc.
  • 8+ years' experience with defense weapons programs in the maritime domain, ranging from requirements, program management, and test planning/execution
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

In this high-impact role, you'll collaborate with a dynamic, cross-functional team—including business development, program managers, top-tier engineers, and senior leadership—to define and deliver cutting-edge capabilities for Unmanned Ground Vehicle autonomy. Your deep expertise in testing, development, procurement, and operational deployment will be key to solving the most pressing challenges in autonomy—and turning visionary ideas into battlefield-ready technology.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
