As a Senior Financial Analyst at Likewize in Toronto, you will lead the Canada Finance team in developing insights to boost returns and growth. Your responsibilities include annual budgeting and 3-year planning, managing monthly and daily sales forecasts, analyzing performance against plans, collaborating on strategic projects, and enhancing financial management processes. You will work with the North America finance leader to develop and drive initiatives, business planning, performance measurement / reporting, decision support, board reporting and strategic projects. Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS office products.
  • Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.
Good to have:
  • MBA/CA preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Great Plains, Hyperion Planning, PowerBI, and SQL.

Job Description:

Likewize is searching for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team in our Toronto office. In this role, you will be a leader within the Canada Finance team and be responsible for developing insights that enhance returns and accelerate growth. The SFA will direct the strategic development, implementation and maintenance of all financial planning functions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Annual Budgeting and 3 Year Planning process: Working with the North America finance leader developing challenging financial goals, operating plans and insightful measurement systems. Includes modeling, presentation creation and timeline management.

  • Manages the monthly forecast process for rollup and uploads to the Corporate FP&A team.

  • Manages daily sales for rollup and upload to the Corporate FP&A team.

  • Provide interpretations and analysis of actual month-end performance versus plan / forecast / prior periods and assess the impact on future results.

  • Partners closely with the North America finance leader to develop and drive initiatives, business planning, performance measurement / reporting, decision support, board reporting and strategic projects.

  • Develop and assist in execution of business cases for internationalization strategy.

  • Enhances the Company’s financial management processes.

If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skill and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field with an MBA / CA highly preferred but not required.

  • 3+ years’ experience.

  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in creating solutions and improving processes.

  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS office products.

  • The ability to collaborate with a multi‐department team.

  • NetSuite, Great Plaines, Hyperion Planning, PowerBI and SQL experience preferred.
