Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager, APAC, to join a dynamic team expanding Health Clinical Effectiveness products. Reporting to the Head of Strategy for International Segment, this role supports strategic initiatives to accelerate market expansion and sales effectiveness in APAC. Responsibilities include providing consultative support for best practices, optimizing sales team outcomes, and delivering data-driven insights to drive revenue growth. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position based in Shenton Way, Singapore.
Must have:
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to identify business opportunities
  • Support GTM Plan and Monthly Divisional Meeting preparation with leadership team
  • Identify and manage critical success criteria and key performance metrics for sales roles
  • Develop and maintain a KPI scorecard on sales representative performance
  • Standardize processes to strengthen position in accounts and “must win” opportunities
  • Direct change management programs focused on improving sales and coaching best practices
  • Support development of marketing forecasts, estimating costs, preparing pricing studies, and/or managing program/project budgets
  • Drive strategic process to identify and execute against new opportunities for sales team effectiveness
  • Offer end-to-end solutions including process analysis and design, requirements planning, business case development, analytics support and administration support
  • Provide insight and consultative support for effective customer positioning
  • Perform analyses and prepare forecasts and recommendations in areas of product preferences, market conditions, sales coverage, market penetration, and sales trends
  • Manage projects against deliverables & timelines
  • Develop and hold presentations to group and divisional management
  • Bring sharp analytical thinking, cultural curiosity, and a passion for driving results
  • Tackle complex, unstructured challenges and turn them into clear, actionable strategies
  • Proven ability to design and implement tactical initiatives that enhance sales productivity
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in multicultural environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Presence and confidence to engage effectively with C-level executives, client relationship leaders, and senior sales professionals
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong data-driven mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Practical experience navigating cross-cultural business dynamics and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Fluency in English
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems and analytics around sales pipeline modeling
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com required
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel; High proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including occasional international travel

Job Details

We are currently seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager, APAC, to join a multi-cultural and dynamic team focused on the expansion of our Health Clinical Effectiveness’ products and services. You will report to Head of Strategy for International Segment, and will work with both local and global teams to support the strategic initiatives that ensure the acceleration of market expansion and sales effectiveness in APAC. You will provide consultative and constructive support in developing and deploying best practices to optimize sales team outcomes, and deliver data-driven insights and analysis to drive revenue growth.

This is a full-time permanent position, based in Shenton Way, Singapore (hybrid working, working from home 3 days per week). #LI-Hybrid

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to identify and monetize business opportunities
  • Support in the preparation of the GTM Plan and Monthly Divisional Meeting with the leadership team specifically ensuring the data and market insights that support understanding of performance outcomes and further investment
  • Identify and manage the critical success criteria and key performance metrics for productivity and efficiency of the given sales roles as well as develop and maintain a KPI scorecard on sales representative performance
