As an Account Executive in Affiliate Marketing at Ziff Davis CNET Group, you will support and grow affiliate partnerships and contribute to the overall growth strategy. You will work closely with affiliate partners to optimize performance and drive revenue, manage key accounts, foster relationships with new partners, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver value-driven affiliate marketing solutions. This role involves executing strategies that align with business goals while providing excellent client service. Responsibilities include managing and optimizing affiliate accounts, identifying opportunities to enhance programs, collaborating with sales and editorial teams, driving new business, providing client support, and generating reports.
Must have:
  • Experience in affiliate or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.

As an Account Executive in Affiliate Marketing at Ziff Davis CNET Group, you'll be responsible for supporting and growing affiliate partnerships and contributing to our overall growth strategy.
 
What You’ll Do: As an Account Executive, you’ll work closely with our affiliate partners to optimize their performance and drive incremental revenue (both organic and flat-fee). Your role will be to support key accounts, foster relationships with new partners, and collaborate across internal teams to deliver value-driven affiliate marketing solutions. Your focus will be on executing strategies that align with our business goals while providing outstanding client service.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support & Grow Affiliate Partnerships:
    • Manage and optimize performance for a portfolio of affiliate accounts, working to ensure partner success and revenue growth.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance affiliate programs by analyzing performance data and making strategic recommendations.
    • Assist in driving increased affiliate engagement and new partnerships by working closely with internal teams.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    • Work alongside sales, editorial, and business intelligence teams to deliver on affiliate marketing goals.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between affiliate marketing initiatives and overall business objectives.
  • Drive New Business:
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding affiliate networks with new partners.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with affiliate networks, agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to help grow the affiliate channel.
  • Client Support:
    • Serve as the day-to-day contact for affiliate partners, assisting with any inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely and efficient execution of campaigns.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with affiliate partners to ensure performance goals are being met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Monitor campaign performance metrics, generate reports, and present insights to both internal teams and clients.
    • Utilize data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing affiliate campaigns.

  • Analytical Skills: You have experience with data analysis and reporting, and you can turn data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Organizational Skills: You are able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present confidently to partners and teams.
Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms and technologies.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
