The Key Account Manager DACH will be responsible for exceeding sales targets and growth plans with top reseller accounts in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This role requires creating and executing sales and marketing plans, managing demand generation, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, and ensuring customer understanding of Corsair products. Responsibilities include analyzing competitive pricing, identifying business growth areas, forecasting stock levels, and collaborating with internal teams (marketing, sales). The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in IT sales, account management, or product management, with a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of the PC components and memory market.

Job Description

General Purpose:

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding targets and growth plans with top Reseller Accounts 
  • Create and execute sales and marketing plans.
  • Build demand generation within the customers and review ROI on sales promotion 
  • Manage online presentation and product placements and landing pages or Brand stores at partners
  • Maintain high level of relationship and motivation for the Corsair brand.
  • Identify business opportunities and solve problems in day-to-day trade 
  • Support PR team with local events and local language PR/Influencers

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Be able to create and execute a Sales and Marketing plan for your area of responsibility.
  • Be able to measure performance accurately weekly / monthly / quarterly. 
  • Manage demand generation plans with accounts via promotion, marketing, forums, placement, merchandising.
  • Identify any weaknesses quickly and create a plan to correct.
  • Be able to identify business growth areas within your customer base – focus and measure results. 
  • Build strong relationships at all levels within your accounts. Visit customer locations frequently. 
  • Understand and work with our reseller and distribution partners to ensure the accounts / channels needs are met. 
  • Build run rates and forecast stock levels closely within all accounts to ensure maximum sales potential.
  • Ensure that customers have a strong understanding of Corsair’s products and objectives.
  • Maintain regular competitive pricing analysis of top sellers and highlight concerns to the channel marketing team and local sales manager.
  • Focus on strategic direction - understand the overall Corsair strategic direction and portfolio, assist marketing team in defining new and better products based on local requirements 
  • Possess customer-centric skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Corsair’s core values.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must be enthusiastic and dependable salesperson
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, Sales, Product Management, Account Management
  • Intermediate experience working with MS Office Suite; proficient in Excel (creating charts, pivot tables, lookup, formulas) is a preference.
  • Experience and technical knowledge of the PC Components & memory market required
  • Passion for technology and is proactive in staying current on the latest products to market 
  • Well organized, process driven with ability to multitask fast and efficiently
  • Ability to prioritise and demonstrate attention to detail with great accuracy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to articulate a point of view and negotiate
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
