The specialist will support strategy development, implement value propositions, provide support to sales teams, act as a technology champion, drive install base replacement visibility, and manage funnel and velocity for replacement opportunities. This position requires customer service experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer services sales, marketing, or customer success.
  • Business proficient in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong excel skills.
Good to have:
  • Installed Base Management experience in Medical Device industry.
  • International working experience in a matrix environment.
  • Experience with working in a cross-functional team.

Job Description

Job title:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Surgery Installed Product and Service Specialist.

You’ll get the great opportunity to discover how the Health System Commercial and Customer Services Teams work while working for Philips, a company that makes a difference in people’s lives. You are required to spend at least 3 days in the office, of which at least 1 day in the Amsterdam office. You can work the other 2 days from Eindhoven or Best office. This is a European focused position. We are not open to international relocation.

The IGTS-MoS Install Base and Service Business Officer will report to the European MoS Business team, with the responsibility to drive the Mobile Surgery Customer Service business for Europe, working in collaboration with the services, equipment sales, modality and business teams to develop business winning service strategies, to introduce new service portfolio offerings taking into consideration the market variations across Europe, and to ensure sales teams are equipped to talk with confidence about our customer service capabilities. In addition, the role will also be in charge of addressing the commercial opportunity in the MoS Install Base. Using install base information, the role will be responsible for aligning the available commercial opportunities to the eligible install base, ensuring that install base replacement visibility is maintained, and assisting the business and marketing teams to deploy promotions and initiatives to the Philips sales teams. 

Your role:

  • Support IGT Service Business Lead with strategy development for the Mobile Surgery Business Category in Europe.
  • Develop and implement across Europe tactical value propositions for Win-back, Point of Sales, Extended Warranty into new markets.
  • Provide support on the Customer Services portfolio to the Equipment Modality Sales Specialists and Commercial teams to maximize Order Intake, Margins, Market Share and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Act as the Mobile Surgery Technology Maximizer champion for Europe.
  • Drive IB (Installed Base) replacement visibility: develop, deploy and deliver best practice in SFDC (linked asset/mass upload).
  • Drive segmentation for IB replacement: combine IB replacement with eligible promo and offers to deliver replacement opportunities to account teams.
  • Funnel and velocity management for IB replace opps and support the EQ & CS Sales teams with sales excellence / performance management.

You're the right fit if:   
 

  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in customer services sales, marketing and customer success management. Installed Base Management experience in Medical Device industry preferred.
  • Business proficient in English. Excellent oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations.
  • A structured, conceptual thinker, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • International working experience in a matrix environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong excel skills are required.
  • Experience with working in a cross-functional team and a strong team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
