Project Manager, Accessibility

We’re hiring a Project Manager, Accessibility for a well-known healthcare company. This is a 5-month contract opportunity with the potential to extend. The role is 100% remote, and candidates must be able to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.

You’ll join the Digital Experience team to lead the execution of one of the company’s most strategic accessibility initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to manage impactful projects that champion inclusive design and accessibility across digital platforms.

Project Manager, Accessibility Responsibilities:

• Own and manage end-to-end project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple accessibility-focused digital initiatives.

• Ensure digital deliverables meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards and reflect inclusive design principles.

• Collaborate with accessibility SMEs and UX designers to embed accessibility into planning, design reviews, and final QA.

• Support internal accessibility training rollouts and adoption of accessible tools across the organization.

Project Manager, Accessibility Qualifications:

• Must have 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional digital projects—preferably in healthcare, tech, or other regulated industries.

• Must have a solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), inclusive UX practices, and digital design workflows.

• You must be experienced in agile delivery and comfortable leading sprint-based project teams.

• Ideally you will excel at stakeholder engagement and aligning diverse teams toward a common goal.
