Background
In 2022, our company established an organization responsible for project management operations due to the expansion of game development projects.
Traditionally, PM tasks such as personnel, schedule, and budget management were handled by game development roles (planners, programmers, graphic designers, etc.). These tasks will be transferred to this new organization, and it will also be responsible for identifying and solving issues in each project to achieve more efficient project operations.
Job Responsibilities
Project management operations for the development of the 'Pokémon' series.
- Various tasks related to project progress, such as schedule management and personnel adjustments.
- Budget management.
- Construction of development environment (e.g., securing hardware, setting software permissions).
- General tasks related to the establishment of the project management organization.
- Continuous organizational and operational improvement activities.
- *In the future, there is a possibility of being entrusted with tasks related to negotiation and coordination with external companies and budget formulation.*
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Experience in achieving high results in problem-solving tasks.
- Experience in either 1 or 2 below:
1. Project management in game, video, or web service development.
2. Team management (industry agnostic).
Skills
- Leadership and communication skills to involve internal and external stakeholders and promote work.
- Problem-setting ability with appropriate analysis and execution power to solve set problems.
- Document creation using various Office software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a PM or game development lead in consumer game development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a strong sense of ownership.
- Able to find their own answers, propose them, and take the lead in executing them.
- Able to continuously learn outside their area of expertise.
Tools Used
