As the Sr. Manager of the Customer Data Analytics team at Cyara, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customer facing teams have access to data, information, and meaningful insights into customer usage and value. You will lead a team of Database Engineers and Data Analysts responsible for guiding data analysis projects and supporting the Sales, Customer Success, and Value Engineering teams.  

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development
• Lead and coordinate the team of data engineers and analysts to provide both project delivery and real-time operational support for the Cyara Go-To-Market functions, focused on customer product-usage data.
• Hire, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and fit for Cyara culture.
• Develop project plans and timelines to manage the work of the team and manage projects to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.
Data Engineering and Analytics Delivery
• Provide technical design, guidance, and delivery oversight related to creating and maintaining database systems and structures to support the data extraction, integration, reporting, and analysis needed.
• Provide technical design, guidance, and delivery oversight related to data integration between product data sources (e.g. Snowflake), BI tools, and CRM databases
• Ensure systems stay reliable, stable, and efficient, troubleshooting and directing troubleshooting efforts where needed, within and across data and integrated systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Value Engineering, and R&D to define product metrics and analytics appropriate to drive data-driven decision making
• Support business decision making by providing guidance and meaningful trends-related insights both at a per-customer level and across the portfolio of customers
• Represent the Data Analytics team in meetings and presentations

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Information Services/Technology.
• Minimum 12 years of experience as a Data Engineering/Analytics.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience leading data engineering or analytics teams
• Solid understanding of business processes and commercial impacts and value models
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to simplify complex information and present complex information and findings in an understandable and concise manner
• Strong technical skills
• Strong SQL performance tuning and optimization skills.
• Experience in database design, development, and data extraction.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like PowerShell and Terraform.
• Experience with Data Technology Platform Monitoring.
