Fictiv, a leading technology company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Account Executive to help hardware innovators build better products faster. As an Account Executive, you will work with exciting companies to bring their products to market by understanding their requirements and configuring optimal solutions. You will identify and develop prototyping and production manufacturing programs, coordinate Fictiv's team and platform, and deliver sales presentations and on-site meetings. Building relationships at all levels of an organization, from engineers to C-level executives, is crucial for growing customer lifetime value. This role involves sales enablement and training to enhance sales capabilities and hit business targets. Responsibilities include developing strategic account plans, building and maintaining a healthy pipeline, securing prototyping and production contracts, meeting sales quotas, forecasting in Salesforce, managing contract negotiations, and building long-term customer relationships. You will become an expert in your accounts' product development needs and help establish Fictiv's reputation.
Must have:

Impact In This Role:

As an Account Executive, you will work closely with some of the most exciting companies in the world to help them bring amazing products to market. You will ensure Fictiv fully understands the customer’s requirements, challenges, and priorities to configure the optimal solution to address those requirements while improving their time to market.
You will work on identifying and developing prototyping opportunities and production-class manufacturing programs that allow our customers to develop, launch, and deliver products to market at speeds never before thought possible. Your proven leadership skills will be essential to coordinating the efforts of a highly capable Fictiv team and platform that supports you at every opportunity. You will deliver sales presentations and organize on-site meetings such as Sales meetings, quarterly business reviews, tech days, and other face-to-face meetings to build relationships and account know-how that help you manage and grow customer lifetime value. 
You will develop relationships at every level in an organization, from mechanical engineers to supply chain managers to C-level executives, to build trust and confidence in Fictiv as the “go-to” for all custom manufacturing needs. To enable these motions, you will eagerly engage in sales enablement and training activities to a) learn how to navigate Fictiv and do your job, b) learn our differentiated catalog offerings, and c) continue to learn and enhance your sales capabilities, including how to discover and understand customers more deeply. All of this aims to grow our wallet and mindshare within qualified accounts and hit our business targets. 

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop strategic account business plans for target accounts assigned to you in the Business Unit
  • Prospect to build and maintain a healthy pipeline
  • Identify and secure opportunities with prototyping, ramp, production and long-term, strategic manufacturing contracts
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Maintain accurate account and opportunity forecasting in Salesforce.com
  • Lead and manage customer contract negotiations
  • Build meaningful long term relationships with key customer decision makers
  • Become a true expert in the product development needs, plans and challenges of your accounts
  • Help establish Fictiv’s reputation as a virtual contract manufacturer in the eyes of our most important customers
  • Spend over 10-25% of your time out of the office in front of customers
  • Take responsibility for the overall success of your customers enlisting the correct Fictiv team members where appropriate

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5 + years of sales with proven track record to work remotely and develop account plans, pipeline development
  • Manufacturing or industry related experience is required
  • Proven track record of meeting & exceeding monthly and quarterly targets
  • Unparalleled verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Firm grasp of product development and related business requirements
  • Demonstrated track record of quickly building a new pipeline and managing a forecast to consistently exceed quota
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Demonstrated expertise with modern sales tools (CRM, Sequencing, Prospecting, Collaboration)
  • BS/BA degree preferred
