Job Description

The Content Author (CA) is responsible for creating, editing, and tracking content within a Content Management System (CMS) environment, interacting with various stakeholders. CAs aim to deliver excellent results for projects and teams, working with web applications and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Key responsibilities include creating or updating content in CMS platforms (AEM, Sitecore, TeamSite) using basic HTML, CSS, and JS, ensuring accurate reflection of client requirements. The role involves close collaboration with Creative, Business, Technology, and QA teams for quality and punctual web development, implementing technical solutions following best practices, debugging simple issues in web applications, and providing feedback on policies and procedures.
Must have:
  • 2+ years experience with CMS (Wordpress, AEM, Sitecore, TeamSite)
  • Knowledge of Cross-browser and Responsive development
  • Familiar with basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Experience manipulating website content
  • Familiar with JIRA or similar issue tracking tool
Good to have:
  • Knowledge in Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with data transfer formats (JSON, XML)
  • Knowledge of HTML Semantic Elements and ADA
  • Experience/knowledge of GraphQL

Job Details

The Content Author (CA) is responsible for creating, editing and tracking down the content within a CMS environment, which also implies interacting with majority of stakeholders in a project. As a CMS project owner, CAs strive to deliver excellent results to benefit both the project and the team. A CA works with web applications and a variety of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JS and is comfortable with content management systems platforms.


 

You will:

  • Create or update content in the CMS (AEM, Sitecore, TeamSite) on basic HTML, CSS and JS to ensure the pages accurately reflect the client requirements.
  • Works closely with Creative, Business, Technology and QA teams to ensure quality and punctual web development.
  • Implements technical solutions following the Capability’s best practices.
  • Debugs or troubleshoots simple issues in existing web applications.
  • Provide feedback on policies and procedures when an opportunity for improvement exists.

 

You have:

  • At least 2+ years of experience working with content management systems (Wordpress, AEM, Sitecore, TeamSite).
  • Knowledge of Cross-browser and Responsive development
  • Familiar with basic front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JS.
  • Experience manipulating and administering website content.
  • Familiar with JIRA or similar issue tracking tool.
  • Knowledge in Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data transfer formats popular in web applications (eg. JSON, XML).
  • Knowledge and notions of HTML Semantic Elements and ADA would be a plus.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of GraphQL would be a plus.
