Job Description

Gravitee is seeking a Customer Account Manager for EMEA South to be a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for existing customers. This role focuses on long-term success and guiding customers towards broader digital strategy alignment, rather than traditional sales. The Customer Account Manager will build consultative relationships, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customers realize maximum value from Gravitee's platform, and uncover opportunities to deepen partnerships. Responsibilities include managing the renewal process, leading customer reviews, roadmap alignment, and value realization discussions, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
Must have:
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing role (e.g., Customer Success, Account Management)
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise relationships strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with technical conversations, focusing on business value
  • Highly organized, proactive, and outcome-driven

THE ROLE & WHY IT EXISTS

Gravitee.io is taking APIs to the next level, we are the premier, open source API platform and we want everyone to know how amazing our software is. To make this happen, we are looking for someone passionate, curious and ambitious. This is where you come in. 

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Account Manager, you will be the trusted advisor and main point of contact for our existing customers in EMEA. This isn’t a traditional sales role, instead, you’ll be the champion of long-term success, guiding customers beyond API management toward broader digital strategy alignment.

You’ll build strong, consultative relationships and work cross-functionally to ensure customers are realising maximum value from Gravitee’s platform, while uncovering opportunities to deepen the partnership.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Your daily to-do list will feature some or all of the following, but is not limited to:

  • Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of key existing customers across EMEA.
  • Manage overall renewal process
  • Act as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact, advocating for your customers internally.
  • Collaborate with customers on their broader digital strategy, aligning Gravitee to long-term business goals.
  • Lead regular customer reviews, roadmap alignment sessions, and value realisation discussions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion by identifying areas for growth and engagement.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Support to resolve issues and deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Gravitee’s platform and how it solves complex, real-world challenges.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to customer adoption, satisfaction, or renewal.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS The right candidate will possess at least the following skills, if not more:

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Customer Success, Strategic Account Management, or Solution Consulting.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise relationships with a strategic lens.
  • Strong understanding of API management, developer ecosystems, or related technologies (not mandatory but a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable navigating technical conversations, while maintaining a business-value focus.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and driven by outcomes.
