Job Description

The Director Partner Solutions will collaborate with the VP of Integrated Marketing & Sponsorship to develop and package advertising and sponsorship solutions for Sphere Entertainment Co.'s venues and platforms. Responsibilities include managing partner pitches, creating and executing business development strategies, designing sponsorship frameworks, and conceiving innovative experiences leveraging Sphere's capabilities. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills, along with experience in strategic marketing and sponsorship execution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the immersive entertainment space and a proven ability to meet sales and revenue goals. This is a full-time, on-site position in New York City.

Who are we hiring?  

The Director Partner Solutions will work with the VP of Integrated Marketing & Sponsorship to design and package our advertising, sponsorship products into solutions that meet customer needs. The Director Partner Solutions will be an expert at designing solutions and articulating the benefits of these packages in a manner that makes customers and clients want to buy. They will listen to customer needs, benchmark what we have to sell, and design packages that enable the Sphere to establish itself as a premium creative canvas while meeting all of our sales and partner revenue goals.

What will you do?

  • Responsibly manage multiple partner pitches, demonstrating the ability to tell a compelling story for potential brands, leveraging a deep understanding of brand, strategy, marketing, and customer intelligence
  • Partner to create, execute, and implement the business development strategy and strategic sales plan for the Sphere.
  • Work with strategy and operations teams to help Sphere Sales & Partnerships team sell with speed and efficiency.
  • Design and package advertising, sponsorship, and products into solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop sponsorship frameworks that deliver financial value and profit to Sphere.
  • Concept experiences in partnership with our studios team that leverage the full capability of Sphere, further differentiating our product in delivering high quality, premium content that people love and share.
  • Collaborate closely with Studios (content), Venue Operations (engineering), business and marketing to ensure we develop a viable scope for new projects in concert with product roadmap and with a quality that meets partnership objectives.
  • Provide estimates and updates to project stakeholders on creative development, processes, costs, and budgets from pitch to delivery.
  • Utilize data and research to conceive of content themes, formats, requirements, architectures and more to develop performance-driven program ideas that feel organic to our brands.
  • Research current and emerging technologies in the immersive/entertainment space and drive acceleration when needed.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 10+ years’ experience in strategic marketing / sponsorship execution
  • Understanding of technology partnerships and developing creative ideas for brands in the immersive/interactive space is a plus
  • Ability to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness in creating sponsorship proposals and partner ideas.
  • Ability to establish relationships with all levels of the company, sponsors/clients/teammates and external stakeholders.
  • Technical proficiency with PCs, MS Office (Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively to maximize productivity.
  • Ability to work both independently to trouble shoot and problem solve.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and open to learning new ways of working.
  • Ability to be a reliable team member, capable of effective collaboration to achieve our shared goals across teams and departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, tailoring the message based on the purpose, audience, and channel.
  • Ability to embrace change with a flexible mindset, even if the way forward isn’t clear.

Pay Range
$113,000$220,000 USD
