Job Description

Frima is seeking an Executive Producer to drive business unit growth and performance. The role involves acting as a key point of contact for partners, implementing best practices for strong relationships, and ensuring effective communication of project status, risks, and opportunities. Responsibilities include leading contract negotiations, identifying new business opportunities, developing stakeholder relationships, and creating compelling proposals. The producer will also set success metrics, manage budgets and P&L, plan resource requirements, validate game quality, and report on financial performance. Must have:
  • 15+ years in project management (video games or similar)
  • Executive or Senior Producer experience in video games
  • Experience in service or co-development studios
  • Knowledge of Jira, 10,000ft, Confluence, Excel/Google Sheets
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)

Ce à quoi ressembleront tes semaines
  • Agir à titre de point de contact principal pour les partenaires, et mettre en place les meilleures pratiques qui favorisent des relations solides et à long terme avec ces derniers; 
  • Mettre en place les outils et processus afin d'assurer une communication efficace des équipes auprès des partenaires quant à l'état des projets, les risques et les opportunités;
  • Mener les négociations de contrats et s'assurer que tous les accords sont alignés sur les objectifs et les capacités de l'entreprise;
  • Identifier et poursuivre de nouvelles opportunités commerciales pour son unité d’affaires;
  • Développer et entretenir des relations avec les principales parties prenantes de l'industrie et les clients potentiels;
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de vente pour créer des propositions et présentations convaincantes;
  • Mettre en place des indicateurs de succès et des modèles économiques permettant d’évaluer la croissance et l’impact de l'unité d’affaires;
  • Établir la planification des ressources requises sur les projets dans son unité d'affaires selon les besoins d’expertise et les jalons des projets; 
  • Valider la qualité et l’uniformité du jeu tout au long du processus de production avec les producteurs responsables ainsi que le partenaire, afin d'assurer le respect des standards établis;
  • Produire et assurer le suivi des indicateurs de performance de son unité d'affaires; 
  • Développer et gérer le P&L de l'unité de co-développement, en s'assurant que les objectifs financiers sont atteints;
  • Rapporter la performance financière et les prévisions à la direction, en fournissant des informations et des recommandations pour l'amélioration.
  • Monter et présenter des propositions d’investissement à la direction afin de faire avancer le positionnement de l’entreprise.


Ce que nous recherchons
  • Diplôme universitaire en administration, gestion de projets ou autre domaine pertinent en lien avec le développement de jeux vidéo;
  • Minimum de 15 années d'expérience pertinente en gestion de projets dans le domaine du jeu vidéo ou dans un domaine similaire;
  • Expérience avérée dans un rôle de Producteur exécutif ou sénior dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo, de préférence dans des studios en prestation de service et/ou en co-développement;
  • Très bonne connaissance des outils de gestion tels que Jira, 10,000ft, Confluence, Excel/Google Sheets;  

  • Habileté à voyager à l’extérieur du pays au besoin;

  • Excellente maîtrise de la langue française et anglaise (écrit et oral). Des habiletés en anglais sont requises pour la réalisation du travail comme nous collaborons avec des partenaires anglophones.

What your weeks are going to look like
  • Act as the main point of contact for partners, and implement best practices to foster strong and long-term relationships with them;
  • Implement tools and processes to ensure effective communication between teams and partners regarding project status, risks and opportunities;
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure all agreements align with the company’s goals and capabilities;
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the business unit;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and potential clients;
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create compelling proposals and presentations;
  • Set up success metrics and business models to assess the growth and impact of the business unit;
  • Plan project resource requirements within the business unit according to expertise needs and project milestones;
  • Validate the quality and consistency of the game throughout the production process with the producers and the partner, to ensure compliance with established standards;
  • Produce and track the performance indicators of the business unit;
  • Develop and manage the co-development unit’s P&L, ensuring that financial objectives are met;
  • Report financial performance and forecasts to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement;
  • Create and present investment proposals to management to support the company’s positioning.



What we're looking for
  • University degree in administration, project management, or another relevant field related to video game development;
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in project management in the video game industry or a similar field;
  • Proven experience in an Executive or Senior Producer role in the video game industry, preferably in service studios and/or co-development;
  • Very good knowledge of management tools such as Jira, 10,000ft, Confluence, Excel/Google Sheets;
  • Ability to travel outside the country if needed;
  • Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken). English skills are required to perform the work as we collaborate with English-speaking partners.
