Clearwater Analytics is seeking a dynamic and driven Head of Sales for the EMEA Asset Owner market. This player-coach role involves leading and building a team of sales representatives and pre-sales consultants to acquire new clients and drive the company's growth. The position is responsible for the overall quota of the team and creating the region's go-to-market plan in partnership with the EMEA MD and GM of Asset Owners. The role requires influencing product strategy for corporations, pension funds, the LGPS market, and sovereign wealth funds. Clearwater has a proven track record of understanding market requirements and client challenges to deliver a consultative sales process, demonstrating the value of their SaaS solutions. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the EMEA MD, offering an opportunity to build and manage a key European region.
Must Have:
  • 15+ years sales experience, preferably in Asset Owner space
  • Experience managing a team and achieving multi-million annual booking targets
  • Track record of growing business in EMEA, including strategic deals
  • Connections to and understanding of C-level buyers
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Passion, ambition, and drive for building businesses
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • SaaS sales experience

We are looking for a dynamic, driven leader to play a critical role in growing Clearwater’s presence in the EMEA Asset Owner market. In a player-coach role, you will lead and build a team of quota-carrying sales representatives and pre-sales consultants. The leader is responsible for the overall quota of the team through the acquisition of new clients, with the goal of assisting Clearwater in becoming the world’s most trusted technology platform for front-to-back office SaaS solutions. 

 

The Region Head creates and drives the region’s go-to-market plan in partnership with the EMEA MD and GM of Asset Owners and will influence the product strategy for corporations, pension funds, the LGPS market, and sovereign wealth funds. 

 

Clearwater has a proven track record of building outstanding businesses by obtaining or building a deep understanding of market requirements, as well as the technology and operational challenges faced by prospective clients. This knowledge leads to a consultative sales process that demonstrates, establishes, and highlights the value of Clearwater. 

 

This position provides an opportunity to play a highly visible role in Clearwater’s growth within the EMEA market and will report directly to the EMEA MD. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • This is an entrepreneurial role to build and manage one of our key regions in Europe. 

  • The Region Head will create the Go-to-Market strategy for Asset Owners and an executable plan that aligns with the goals for EMEA. 

  • The Region Head will collaborate with the central Marketing, Product, and Solutions Heads, with a dotted line into the GM of Global Asset Owners. 

  • Own the goals for the region and manage a team of Enterprise Representatives, Pre-Sales Consultants, and Business Development Representatives. 

  • Leverage current relationships in the market with target prospects, clients, and other influencers, and create and manage new relationships. 

  • Be part of the EMEA region leadership team and help drive the vision and goals for the region with the MD, EMEA. 

 

Requirements: 

  • 15+ years’ experience in sales, preferably in the Asset Owner space. 

  • Experience in managing a team and achieving multi-million annual booking targets. 

  • A track record of growing business in the EMEA region, including strategic deals (buy-outs, large transformations). 

  • Connections to and understanding of C-level buyers and senior decision-makers. 

  • Strong presentation and writing skills for client-facing activities. 

  • Passion, ambition, and drive for building businesses. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment. 

  • SaaS sales experience.
