Position Overview
The Organizational Change Management Lead will lead small to mid-size team supporting client engagements (impacting key executives, program sponsorship, project team and employees) with focus on stakeholder engagement and change communications activities for outsourcing initiatives.
The Organizational Change Management Lead will be responsible for junior team members and portions of a client engagement. They will contribute specialized knowledge to IP and Comms/OCM methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead small to mid-sized OCM engagements focused on sourcing transactions (e.g. outsourcing, insourcing, rebadging, managed services transitions)
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, helping them navigate the people-side risks and opportunities inherent in sourcing initiatives
- Design and execute stakeholder engagement plans, communications strategies, and readiness activities tailored to sourcing contexts
- Develop key OCM deliverables such as leak response plans, stakeholder FAQs, HR checklists, notification choreography, and pulse survey assessments
- Collaborate with client communications and HR teams to align sourcing OCM efforts with broader enterprise change programs
- Contribute to ISG’s OCM intellectual property, tools, and accelerators to drive consistent, high-quality delivery across engagements
- Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring client-ready work and fostering professional growth
- Partner with sourcing advisors to integrate OCM perspectives into broader deal strategy and execution
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client relationships with professionalism and agility
Required Skillsets
- This is a remote position based in the United States
- 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in consulting or professional services
- Significant experience in OCM planning and execution for large-scale transformations, with at least some exposure to sourcing, outsourcing, or vendor transitions
- Strong grasp of stakeholder engagement, change communications, impact analysis, and readiness planning
- Ability to write clearly and persuasively for executive audiences and to translate complex concepts into practical plans and materials
- Confidence facilitating client sessions and advising senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality outputs quickly
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to integrate OCM work into broader sourcing advisory efforts
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Change Management, Organizational Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or related field
