As a Player Safety Producer, you plan and organize the work of a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering all player safety features for our game, from concept through launch and live operations. You own scheduling and tasking with the goal of maximizing efficiency while removing roadblocks, managing dependencies, and ensuring team's well-being.
You have solid project management skills and have an expert level knowledge of common management tools and methodologies. You use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with all the teams involved. You always keep player expectations at the center of your decision-making process, thereby guaranteeing results and a game of high quality, including gameplay experiences that prioritize safety and positive community interactions.

Responsibilities
- Support and organize a multidisciplinary team to deliver player protection features and live service improvements;
- Act as a project manager for your area of responsibility, using task management software and scheduling techniques that blend agile development with common game content development methodologies;
- Partner with the Player Safety Director on the strategic vision while reporting to the Senior Producer - Player Experience & Lifecycle, ensuring alignment between safety initiatives and overall production goals;
- Collaborate with engineering, design, community management, and customer support teams to implement effective safety solutions;
- Develop and track key safety metrics with the Player Safety Director to measure program effectiveness, creating regular reports on safety incidents, trends, and mitigation effectiveness;
- Develop and maintain crisis response protocols for safety incidents, coordinating rapid response across teams when needed;
- Participate in review activities with Directors and Senior Developers across all areas under your responsibility;
- Collaborate with QA experts to ensure all issues are identified and resolved quickly.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting teams and projects in game production and/or operations
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams of artists, designers, and developers
- Expert level knowledge of common project management tools and methodologies (JIRA, agile development, and others)
- Strong understanding of online safety challenges, including harassment, cheating, and data security threats
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role, which requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingual French and English is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a player-facing safety, moderation, or policy enforcement role
- Background working with telemetry, data analysis, or feedback systems to support player behavior management
- Passion for PvP-focused or MOBA games and comprehensive knowledge of their social dynamics
- Knowledge of secure architecture and anti-cheat systems used in online games
- Understanding of content moderation systems, reporting tools, and safety feature implementation
- Experience supporting long-term system maintenance, operational processes, and post-launch updates
- Understanding of machine learning and automated moderation systems
- Experience with crisis management and handling sensitive situations.
