CyberArk is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Security team. This team is responsible for the Control Plane – our cloud platform that secures machine identities. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services that help extend our platform with Code Signing capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of backend services for the Machine Identity Security cloud platform using technologies such as Java and Golang.
Collaborate with team members to help build APIs that support the frontend, including GraphQL-based services.
Support troubleshooting and help resolve technical issues, learning to work across system boundaries as needed.
Contribute to improving internal tools and development processes over time.
Participate in on-call responsibilities as part of a supportive, paid rotation (with mentorship and training provided).
Up to 2 years of experience in software development (internships or academic projects are welcome).
Familiarity with backend development, ideally with exposure to Java, Golang, or similar languages.
Exposure to database technologies such as Postgres is a plus.
Interest in learning frontend technologies such as Typescript, React, and GraphQL.
Willingness to grow skills in areas such as cloud-native development, PKI, and x509 certificates.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate within a team.
Eagerness to learn and develop domain expertise in machine identity security.

The salary range for this position is $101,000 – $134,000/year, plus discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance and equity. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
