Job Description

The Digital Optimization & CRM Manager will use data analysis, artist/song/channel optimization, and data marketing strategies to enhance performance and conversion rates. This role involves optimizing digital content in search algorithms, collaborating with various teams, developing and executing strategies to improve conversion rates, identifying and addressing usability issues, optimizing user interfaces, analyzing user data, implementing personalization strategies, and generating reports. The ideal candidate should be passionate about music and possess strong data analysis skills and project management experience.

Job Details

The Digital Optimization & CRM Manager will leverage data analysis, artist/song/channel optimization, and data marketing strategies to enhance performance, user experience, and conversion rates. This role also focuses on driving traffic and engagement through various online channels.

What you'll do:

Content Optimization:

  • Optimize the quality and relevance of Sony Music Entertainment’s digital content in search algorithms and artificial intelligence.
  • Collaborate with artists, managers, internal teams, and external partners for asset management.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Develop and execute data and digital marketing strategies to improve conversion rates for songs, artist pages, Digital Service Platforms, websites, and apps.
  • Implement A/B testing, multivariate testing, and user journey analysis.

User Experience Enhancement:

  • Identify and address usability issues.
  • Optimize user interfaces across mobile, websites, and apps to create a seamless and engaging digital experience.

Data Analysis: Analyze user data, including web analytics, user feedback, and customer behavior, to identify optimization opportunities.

Personalization: Implement personalization strategies and CRM to deliver tailored content and experiences to different fan segments.

Reporting and Insights: Monitor and generate weekly reports on optimization efforts, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.

Who you are:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in digital optimization, CRO, CRM, MIS, or related roles, with a proven track record of successful optimization initiatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills to interpret user data and derive actionable insights.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely), heatmapping tools (e.g., Hotjar), CMS platforms (e.g., SAP, ERP, YouTube), and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • User-Centric Focus: Deep understanding of user behavior and the ability to empathize with user needs and preferences.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to lead operational tasks independently or with a lean and agile team.
  • Passion for music, entertainment, and artist and fan development.
