JOB PURPOSE:

In this internship under the Expert Marketing team in Singapore, you will be able to:

• Understand what expert marketing is and engagement with key stakeholders in the fast-moving consumer healthcare industry area
• Experience the day-to-day operations which includes engaging with stakeholders in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, distribution of product samples and gathering market insights and competitors’ activities during field visits to clinics and pharmacies in Singapore.
• Understand the importance of content creation and activities, in alignment with overall brands’ business strategies, to achieve the desirable outcomes.

You will be required to support and assist the Marketing Manager in the activities in relation to expand the reach to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), via the following:

Digital Activation

• Work on key projects such as Haleon Connect to increase reach to HCPs, Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians to increase the brand awareness and to drive recommendations.
• Plan and work with various departments to ensure all marketing contents’ compliance in a timely manner.

Launch Activation

• Partner with associations and internal stakeholders / teams to activate new launch products during conventions, congresses and symposiums.
• Build and execute marketing initiatives. Coordinate with external agencies on product sampling program, congress activation, stock management and related logistics arrangement.

Administrative tasks

• Back order and orders’ fulfilment tracking.
• Samples request and fulfilment.
• Accounts creation following up.

 Throughout this internship, you will be able to achieve the following learning outcomes:

• Build Stakeholder Management skills: Opportunity to work with stakeholders across the organization including sales, marketing, finance, regulatory, medical, product quality, supply chain and external stakeholders such as vendors, retailers and social/media/creative agencies.
• Gain knowledge and experience in Expert Marketing: Gain an understanding on how to market consumer health products in Singapore and learn the importance skill of HCPs engagement with the product knowledge
• Project Management Skills – Prioritisation, Coordination and execution of plans
• Discover your strengths, interest and suitability for the industry especially in the particular field of study.

Business Skills and Competencies

• Business management skills and MS office skills
• Phamarceuticals/ Oral Health Therapy internship or experience or related study is preferred.
• Understanding of Social media platforms

Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Out-going, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment and at times may be required to work on weekends
• Fast learner, self-motivated
• Able to work both individually and as a team player. Have a keen interest to help others
• A keen interest in consumer healthcare science, product and development, and a passion for knowledge
