The Local Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Headquarter Publishing Team and other team members to develop and execute high-impact marketing and media campaigns, including market analysis, budget management, and reporting. This role involves offering local insights to refine the Go-To-Market plan, aligning with the Global PR team, managing external agencies, preparing and localizing marketing assets, and presenting games to retail and media partners. Additional responsibilities include supporting other business functions and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of marketing experience in video games or related entertainment, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.

Local Marketing Manager

ThunderFire Group is a key game development studio under NetEase Games, based in Hangzhou. As one of China’s leading game producers, we have over 15 years of history and a team of 3,000 industry veterans. ThunderFire has delivered renowned titles such as Naraka: Bladepoint, Justice, New Ghost, and Revelation. Dedicated to creating top-tier gaming experiences on console, PC, and mobile platforms for international markets, we are committed to innovation and collaboration with talent from around the globe.

We are currently looking for a Local Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will:

· Work closely with the Headquarter Publishing Team and other team members on developing and executing high-impact marketing and media campaigns as well as life cycle management, including market analysis, budget management, and reporting.

· Offer and discuss local insight with Headquarter team to make the GTM plan.

· Align closely with the Global PR team on implementing global media strategies.

· Brief and control external agencies and vendors.

· Prepare, localize, and distribute Marketing and Paid Media assets.

· Confidently demonstrate our games to retail and media partners.

· Support Communications and other business functions were needed.

· General administrative and organizational tasks.

 

Job Requirements

· 5+ years of professional marketing experience in video games or related entertainment field.

· A thoughtful approach to all facets of work, with a genuine desire to achieve the best possible results, and above all, continue to learn.

· Exceptional planning, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

· A detail-oriented and organized approach to both autonomous and team-based workflows.

· Great analytical skills.

· The ability to remain calm, cool, and collected in high-pressure scenarios, ultimately bringing a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to all interactions.

· Confidence in presenting to small and large audiences.
