Summary

Localize game scripts, manage voice recording and QA for international releases. Responsibilities include scheduling, progress tracking, and asset management of files and scripts. Requires strong communication and interpretation skills with overseas teams and partners. General administrative tasks within the production studio are also involved. The ideal candidate is fluent in Japanese and English with creative translation skills and an understanding of the gaming industry. Experience with game localization, creative translation, and asset management are preferred, but not required. Hybrid or in-office work is mandatory.

WORK DESCRIPTION

  • Localizing tasks (script writing, voice recording, QA) for international versions, as well as related tasks such as scheduling, progress management, and asset management of files and scripts
  • Communication and interpretation with overseas staff and partner companies
  • Other general administrative work required within the production studio

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING

  • Native language skills in Japanese and English
  • Ability to do creative translation tasks from Japanese to English and/or English to Japanese
  • Someone with confidence in their communication skills
  • Someone who understands the industry and game development

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience with game localization
  • Experience doing creative translation work
  • Previous work experience in the gaming industry
  • Ability to manage assets
  • Must not have trouble coming to the office and be able to work hybrid or in the office.
