Purpose of the role:

You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring product quality and reliability in a fast-paced Agile environment.
You’ll define testing strategies, optimize QA workflows, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to deliver stable, high-performing releases.
Your hands-on approach to automation, API testing, and quality metrics will help drive continuous improvement, build confidence in every deployment, and ensure a seamless experience for both users and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Work in a fully agile environment with senior engineers and the business side
• Organize and optimize QA work for your team with TestRail: test strategy, test cases, and test executions
• Create and maintain appropriate QA documentation for your product team
• Measure quality of product with appropriate QA metrics and indicators
• Report on QA stats, risks and work plans to your team members and product stakeholders
• Research and develop new QA technologies and tools
• Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution and provide infrequent consultations for our clients
• Collaborate with other teams - product, infrastructure, and business
• Provide technical training for the product business team on demand
• Release leading as a responsible QA
• Features requirements review
• Monitoring of deploy results

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in testing of server-side applications
• English - Intermediate
• Russian - Upper-Intermediate
• Good communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Version Control Systems:
  • Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Gitlab, Travis CI) for automated testing and deployment processes
• API Testing:
  • Proficient in testing APIs using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or equivalent, and comfortable working with RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Database and SQL:
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation and testing
• Agile Methodologies:
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a deep understanding of Agile testing practices
• Testing Frameworks:
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or equivalent for creating and managing test suites
• Bug Tracking Systems:
  • Proficient in using bug tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools for defect management and reporting
• Performance Testing:
  • Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and concepts for load and stress testing
• Experience with ELK stack

Nice to have:

• Test Automation Tools:
  • Experience in using leading test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies
• Programming Languages:
  • Programming skills in languages commonly used for automation (e.g., Java, Python, C#), as well as scripting languages for task automation
