The Reverse Supply Chain Sourcing Manager is responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, and management of LED based materials and products in the reverse supply chain. This role focuses on maximizing value recovery from returned, recycled, and refurbished signage, and ensuring streamlined reverse logistics management. The individual will collaborate with logistics, supply planning, engineering, and suppliers to drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and meet sustainability goals. The role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing suppliers, optimizing costs, coordinating inventory, improving processes, ensuring sustainability, and collaborating across teams. Reporting and analytics of KPIs are also a part of this role.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 5+ years of supply chain management experience

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills

The Reverse Supply Chain Sourcing Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing, procurement, and management of LED based materials and products in the reverse supply chain. This role focuses on maximizing the value recovery from returned, recycled, and refurbished signage, and ensuring a streamlined process for managing reverse logistics. The individual will collaborate with various stakeholders across logistics, supply planning, engineering, and suppliers to drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and meet sustainability goals.

What you'll do

Sourcing Strategy

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials and components recovered through reverse logistics

  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize reuse of products, parts, and materials

Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers of returned, recycled, and refurbished products

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements while ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and sustainability standards

  • Support development of new supplier capabilities as needed

Cost Optimization

  • Analyze reverse logistics and sourcing costs to identify savings opportunities

  • Lead initiatives to re-engineer returned products for global resale or reuse

  • Implement packaging strategies to increase yield from returned LED signage

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Collaborate with inventory control and warehouse teams to manage returned goods

  • Ensure proper storage, packaging, classification, and tracking of reusable LED components

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in the reverse supply chain and recommend solutions

  • Deploy systems and tools to monitor performance of reverse logistics processes

Sustainability & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in all reverse sourcing activities

  • Develop programs to reduce waste and extend product lifecycle

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, engineering, sales, and finance teams to align on reverse supply chain goals

  • Analyze product return rates and recommend refurbishment strategies to reduce downtime

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track KPIs related to reverse logistics, sourcing, and cost recovery

  • Provide regular reports and performance insights to senior management

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, project management or reverse logistics.

  • Proven track record in sourcing and managing supplier relationships, particularly in a reverse supply chain or sustainability-focused environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and operational efficiency is a plus.

Pay Range

$110,324 - $204,887 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
