The Sr. Account Technical Executive (ATX) role at Cadence involves working with large global teams to align Cadence strategically with customer executive/management teams, understanding their challenges and goals, and delivering results. The role requires identifying customer pain points, developing sales plans to increase market share, and coordinating sales campaigns across worldwide accounts. The candidate should have experience selling verification EDA solutions and a verifiable track record of sales accomplishments. This involves building and maintaining relationships at all levels of the customer organization, negotiating contracts, and working as a team player.
Must have:
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Physics.
  • 10 years of experience in EDA/semiconductor sales.
  • Good understanding of IC design and validation processes.
  • Strong business and technical communication skills.
  • Results-oriented, positive attitude to build customer relationships.
  • Competitive nature to win new market share.
  • Ability to call high in customer organizations.
  • Excellent contract negotiation and sales skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

The ATX role requires working in large global teams, strategically aligning Cadence with the Customers’ executive/management teams, their challenges and goals, and delivering results which meet both Customer KPIs and internal Cadence financial goals.


The ideal candidate needs to have experience in selling verification EDA value-based solutions across all management levels.  A verifiable track record of sales accomplishments and possessing superior communication skills, both verbal and written, is also a must.

Responsibilities:

 

Act as the primary Cadence verification contact for assigned Customers, including facilitating joint executive/management relationships. Develop and drive verification sales plans focused on achieving significant competitive replacements and gain market share through new use models. Identify customer pain points, lead cross functional teams to identify associated product and services solutions, and drive related sales initiatives. Partner with broader global AX/ATX teams to coordinate sales campaigns across worldwide account Should be flexible for travel across account locations.

Position Requirements:             

Master degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Physics preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in EDA/semiconductor sales experience Good understanding of IC design and validation processes. Strong business and technical communication skills Possess results-oriented, positive attitude needed to nurture and build long term customer relationships. Highly competitive nature to win new market share and strongly defend established product entrenchments. Ability to call high in the customer organizations while maintaining good relationship at all levels. Excellent contract negotiation and sales skills. Good team player, who can rally internal stakeholders to achieve the best overall team performance in meeting Customer’s goals.
