Job Description

As a Clinical Informatics Sales Specialist, you will drive healthcare digitization by selling Philips' Clinical Informatics product portfolio in Urology, Radiology, and Pathology in the Nordic region. The role focuses on improving hospital workflows and ensuring high-quality care, with a strategic emphasis on Urology solutions (prostate cancer diagnostic software, image fusion guided biopsy hardware) and AI-powered software for Radiology post-processing.
Must have:
  • Sells assigned portfolio of products within an assigned geographic territory of Nordic.
  • Negotiates with clients, generates leads, gives clinical product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Qualifies prospects and manages sales of products and services.
  • Provides clinical and technical product expertise across accounts.
  • Delivers customer presentations focused on clinical and technical value.
  • Understands and addresses competitive positioning and marketing strategy.
  • Supports identification of tender strategy and quotation.
  • Monitors competition and industry changes, provides effective feedback.
  • Achieves established revenue growth expectations and selling out targets.
  • Develops and executes territory business plans.
  • Partners with inside sales and marketing teams to optimize area coverage.
  • Selects right promotional tactics to optimize sales, responsible for maximizing promotions.
  • Conducts monthly/quarterly/annual business review in respected area.
  • Focuses on optimized product mix (push sales/volume).
  • Ensures orders are collected and Turnover targets are reached.
  • Commercially co-responsible for developing business partnership with customers.
  • Focuses on developing consultative sales partnerships with customers.
  • Sells according to prices agreed by account management and commercial policy.
  • Handles limited negotiation for mixed and decentralized accounts.
  • Ensures queries are solved effectively balancing service and cost.
  • Drives continuous improvements applying LEAN.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical or Healthcare Informatics experience.
  • Extensive clinical experience with specialized training.
  • Completed technical or medical degree.
  • Convincing, reliable demeanor and high sales and IT affinity.
  • High commitment and willingness to travel most days of the week.
  • Motivated to work independently and organize efficiently.
  • Fluent in Swedish language and business English.

Job Details

As a Clinical Informatics Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to drive the digitization of healthcare together with a dedicated team by marketing and selling our innovative Clinical Informatics product portfolio in Urology, Radiology and Pathology. The goal is to support hospitals in improving workflows and ensuring high-quality care. This role has a special strategic focus on growing the Sales of our Urology solutions – prostate cancer diagnostic software and image fusion guided biopsy hardware - as well as growing the Sales of our large set of AI-powered software applications for post-processing in Radiology, in the Nordic region.

Your role:

  • Sells assigned portfolio of products within an assigned geographic territory of Nordic, negotiating with clients, generating leads, giving clinical product presentations and demonstrations, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services
  • Modality Sales Specialist is the knowledge expert on product, who supports driving overall business and product deal support by providing clinical and technical product (modality) expertise on the product / modality across the accounts.
  • Delivers customer presentations specifically focused on the clinical and technical components of the value proposition. Understand and address competitive positioning and marketing strategy of respective product / modality, and supports where needed in identification of the tender strategy and quotation
  • Monitor competition and changes in the industry and provides effective feedback to the sales and marketing organizations that include suggestions for expanding product offerings.
  • Achieving established revenue growth expectations within assigned territory, and achievement of monthly/quarter/annual selling out target in his/her area.
  • Develops and executes territory business plans driving product usage, brand recommendation, to meet and exceed direct sales targets.
  • Partners with inside sales and marketing teams to optimize area coverage. Understands and selects the right promotional tactics to optimize sales, responsible for maximizing promotions

  • Proven clinical experience, with minimum 2 years clinical or Healthcare Informatics experience
  • Extensive clinical experience with specialized training, a completed degree (technical or medical)
  • Convincing, reliable demeanor and equally high sales and IT affinity
  • High commitment, willingness to travel most days of the week
  • Motivated to work independently and able to organize yourself efficiently
  • Fluent in one of Swedish language, and business English
